WE PROVIDE WIDE RANGE OF PALM FIBRE AND RELATED PRODUCTS

EFB PALM FIBER

EFB fibre is the general term for the fibre being extracted from oil palm. EFB fiber can further classify into shredded fibre. EFB fibre is very light and can absorb a lot of water without congealing. To become usable fibre, the EFB palm goes through process which involve EFB palm to shredded, separated, refined and dried. Kimoya Corporation Sdn Bhd is able to produce large quantities of oil palm EFB fibre, which are not only long, clean and fine, but also in uniformity through our self-designed and installed custom-built production lines.

Applications:

Palm fibre is a superior substitute to coconut fibre due to its strong bond that are commonly used in making :

• Mattress and cushion production

• Erosion control mat/blanket for landscaping and horticulture

• Moulded wares and composite material production

• Medium density fiberboard manufacturing

• Paper and pulp production

• Acoustics control

• Compost and fertilizer

PALM FIBER

Palm fibre is the general term for the fibre being extracted from oil palm. More important, the oil palm fibre is clean, bio-degradable and non-toxin that could participate in many usages. Most of the oil palm fibre has been used as one of the biomass media.  A selected portion of fibre size has been used to replace coconut fibre; that fibre could be use for fibre mattress, fibre board, cushion, rugs, carpets and rope manufacturing. Part of the product could also used for environmental friendly project, such as landscaping, land erosion control, soil stabilization, acoustic control.

PALM FIBER MAT

Palm Fibre Mat is a 100% organic fibre, from a renewable source - Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB). They can dissipate the energy of flowing water and absorb the excess solar radiation.

Palm Fibre Mat offer:

  • 100 % Natural fibre, extracted from Empty Fruit Bunch

  • Adds organic material to soil

  • Promotes vegetative growth

  • 100% Bio-degradable and environmentally friendly

  • Tough, durable, versatile and resilient

  • High tear-strength resistance

  • Easy to install / maintain / patch-up.

  • Follows the contour of the soil surface.

  • Hygroscopic properties (absorbing or attracting moisture from the air)

  • High tensile strength

  • Can absorb water, allowing re-vegetation in low rain areas

  • Can dissipate the energy of following water and absorb the excess solar radiation.

  • Can be successfully utilized in controlling even the steepest of slopes from erosion.

Advantage of palm fibre mat

  • Reduction of transportation effort and cost as the mats are easy to handle

  • Reduction on fertilizers

  • Health and safety of staff are not unnecessarily compromised as there is less need to handle weed

COCOPEAT

Cocopeat is a multi purpose growing medium made out of coconut husk. The fibrous coconut husk is pre-washed, machine dried, sieved and made free from sand and other contaminations such as animal and plant residue. Cocopeat used in vermiculture as moisture retaining together with perlite particles porosity are conducive to microbes propagation in an aerobic environment as worm food. Eradicate water logging and drowning of worms with its good drainage features. Also ideal as worm bedding and as a worm feed instead of paper that will be compacted under moist condition.

What are its Applications?
Coco Peat is used in various fields such as:

  • Potting mix suppliers

  • Green houses

  • Hydroponics Growers

  • Nursery & Garden center professionals

  • Seedling Nurseries

  • Lawn and Golf course constructors

  • Horticulture and Floriculture applications

  • Home Gardening (indoor and out door) and for landscaping use

  • Mushroom Farming

  • Bonsai Mixes

  • Turf Farming

  • Vegetable Gardens

  • Rose Cultivation

Advantage of cocopeat

  • Coco peat increases the porosity of the potting mix. This helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. Better root growth results in better plant growth and higher yield.

  • Coco peat increases the water holding capacity of the potting mix even as it increases the porosity of the soil. This ensures that the plant does not suffer from overwatering or underwatering.
